Our Teachers

Our teachers are certified and qualified to serve the children of our community. Our teachers forgo a SLED background check, fingerprint process, and are First Aid/CPR/AED certified. They are required to not only meet, but exceed required education and training requirements for Early Childhood early care and education. We encourage our parents to be involved and participate in their child’s learning and growth experiences while in our program.

Master Teacher

We are looking for a full-time Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans and delivering effective educational programs that promote intellectual, moral, and social development for our students. This is an on-site role located in Greer, SC.

Qualifications

Strong background in curriculum planning and Education.
Excellent Communication and Teaching skills
Ability to work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, and students to promote learning and development.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience working with STEAM education is a plus!
1 year experience preferred but not required.
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA Certification.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education or related field
Certification in Education or related fields is a plus.
Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities is a plus!
Must pass a background check, central registry, and all other necessary requirements to be compliant with childcare licensing.

Associate Teacher

This is a full-time on-site Assistant Teacher role at Kinder Joy Learning Academy, located in Greer, SC. As an assistant teacher, you will be responsible for supporting and working as a team with the Master Teachers in the classroom to ensure that the educational goals of the program and the needs of the children are met. Duties may include but not limited to working with small groups of children, preparing class materials, lesson planning, and communicating with parents and other staff members.

Qualifications

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, although some college coursework and/or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, or a related field is preferred.
At least 6 months experience working with young children in a licensed facility is required.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping children learn are essential qualities for success in this role.
STEAM training and experience are preferred but not required.
Must be willing to undergo a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
